Things to do nearby our condo. Our condo is located on A1A right across from our private beach. Saint Augustine is 30 minutes to our north; Daytona is 15 minutes to our south. Kennedy space center is a little over an hour to our south. Orlando is about an hour and a half to our east. The pool is located in the center of the complex on the ocean side. Please abide by the pool rules to be respectful of others and keep everyone safe. Please refer to the pool rules at the bottom of this document (see things to do on a rainny day below Restaurants on Ocean Shore boulevard (within 15 minutes' drive) There are great restaurants in Ormond-by-the-Sea. We have tried many of the restaurants. Due to the exclusivity of our location, a vehicle will be useful. Here are a few that we recommend: Go south as you exit the driveway Alfie’s, is the closest offering a full menu. It’s the closest to diner food. IHOP, Pancakes! Duncan doughnuts, No holes barred! Beach bucket, located behind the Ocean East resort. Direct ocean front and tasty food open for lunch. Rip Tide: great crabs and much more! Steve’s restaurant: Everything from soup to stake Restaurants on Ocean Shore boulevard (cont) Stone wood: great food Rip Tide, all you can eat crab, and much more. Try the surf and turf bisque. Crabby Daytona Beach Garlic: this is an experience you will never see again! (Ask for Carl Damnit) Turn right on Granada T.G.I.Friday’s Peach Vally Cafe: breakfast and lunch, known for their fritters Starbucks (don’t worry, we won't get upset if you like their coffee better) Out back, the place for stake Donni’s doughnuts: they’ll give VoDoo a run for their money Lulu’s: island Fun food Jimmy Hula’s restaurant: there’s a fish market right in the restaurant. The fish are so fresh they were censored. Wild rabbit bistro, they only give you one dish, but they keep multiplying. Frida’s Mexican restaurant, It’s an old house, Margarita lives there. The grind Gastro pub: eat outside for a big surprise. Rose villa, was a bed and breakfast owned by Henry Flagler. David Rockefeller loved to stay there. There was even a secret room upstairs. Well, now it is a world class southern style restaurant. But, the secret room is still there. Ormond garage: go back in time to an early 1900’s race car garage. There's great food and a beer still in the back room. 31 is a period restaurant with a 1931 theme. The food is great. But don’t be alarmed if Frank Sinatra gets up to sing. Mario”s Italian restaurant opened in 1955 by Mario and his family. His restaurant has passed through the generations until today. The bread is made from flour every morning at 6:00 am. Everything on their menu is fresh and delicious. You wanna a fresh one? Pagano’s Pizza House: forget about it! This guy makes great New York pizza and much more! Tell him Tony sent you. Go north as you exit the driveway Ocean Side Great food and drink Finns, as the name applies, order the fish for the halibut! Golden Lion: The owner was born in Great Britain. So, try the fish and chips. Martins: anything is good here Funky Pelican: the fish is great Hightide: Great food loaded with charm. It’s on the beach.
