We hope you enjoy your stay OCEAN FRONT CONDO WELCOME PACKAGE Thank you for choosing our amazing beach front condominium. We want to do everything we can to provide you with the best Florida vacation available in this area. We have prepared this file to assist you in everything you may need to have the best vacation possible. This file will include: The check-in/check-out process Logging into our WiFi Operation of the television Operation of the thermostat Use of the microwave Coffee pot operation Things to do near-by How to get to the pool and beach The trash chute LocationOur condominium is in the south building of 2700 Ocean shore boulevard sometimes known as A1A. We have a dedicated parking space. Just look for the space marked with the number 302 on the tarmac. You can also park a second vehicle in any open guest space. The check-in process Your confirmed dates at our beach front condominium are saved especially for you. Our condo is in the south building of 2700 ocean Shore boulevard. As you arrive park in the unloading space across from the elevator. Take a moment to register with Angie at the office located in the middle of the complex by the pool. She will register you and issue you a parking pass for security purposes. If you arrive on Saturday or Sunday, please bring your luggage to the condo first then Report to the office Monday morning at 9:00 AM to register and receive your parking pass. The elevator door code is #6322. You may use the last 4 digits of the phone number you registered with to open the condo door. As soon as you have your luggage in your condo, please call us as soon as you are ready for a quick walk through all the amenities. Checking out Our request is that you check out before 10:00 Am on your check-out date. Due to the meticulous cleaning process used by our preparation team, we regret that a late checkout may not be granted. All you need to do is: Take out the garbage placing the bags provided in the garbage Shute located by the laundry room, strip all the beds, and throw all the linen and used towels in the tub. Then start a load of dishes in the dish washer using the provided dishwasher pods. We will take care of the rest. Trash disposal: Turn right as you leave your front door. The trash disposal shoot is located by the laundry room, by the elevators. It is a silver box with a turn handle. Simply turn the handle to open. When you arrive, you may park in the space marked loading. Before you unload your vehicle go to the glass doors under the canopy. Use the code assigned to you the day before check-in to open the glass door. Inside the lobby, you will find a shopping cart and a luggage cart. You may borrow either one or both. Just remember to bring them back down as soon as you unload them so other guests can use them. When you have unloaded your vehicle, bring your luggage to the lobby. Take the elevator to the third floor. How to get to the condoAs you exit the elevator turn left and then right. Follow the hallway to condominium 302. Laundry On your way, look to your right to see the coin operated washer and dryers provided for your convenience. There is also an excellent laundromat called “koin kleen” located about ten minutes from the condo by car. They wash and fold. Trash The trash shoot Is located on the right side of the hallway just after the laundry room. When you arrive at the condominium door, open the storm door, and locate the keypad on the left side of the door. Enter the last four digits of the phone number you registered with. You should see a blue check Mark on the bottom left of the keypad. At this point, just push the door. There is no need to turn the knob. The lock will open automatically. If the lock does not open, please call Tony at 904-303-2609 to trouble shoot. In the unlikely event that the Elevator is not working. Upon arrival, please visit Angie in the office located in the middle of the complex by the pool. She will register you and issue you a parking pass for security purposes. She will then issue you a utility key. As soon as you enter the south driveway your assigned parking spot is the first spot on your right marked 302. The door to the stairwell is located behind the wall in front of your car. Go to the office to receive a stairwell key. Use the key provided to open the door. When you arrive at the third floor. The condo door will be directly in front of you. Open the storm door and locate the keypad on the left side of the door. Enter the last four digits of the phone number you registered with. You should see a blue check Mark on the bottom left of the keypad. At this point, just push the door. There is no need to turn the knob. The lock will open automatically. If the lock does not open, please call Tony at 904-303-2609 to trouble shoot. Whenever you leave the condominium, simply pull the door, and hold it closed while tapping the lock icon on the bottom right of the keypad. No numbers need to be entered upon closure. If you need usWe want you to have the vacation of your dreams. We have prepared the condominium especially for you. An inventory was taken before your arrival. If you notice that there is anything you may need that was not waiting for you at the condo, there are several retail stores only minutes away by car. Logins onto the wi-fi network. You can do this by going to the settings of your hand held or pc device, find wi-fi settings. Under settings every wi-fi of our complex will be displayed. Scroll down until you see spectrum A4. This is us. Your password is suddenladder998. You should have access to the internet for your entire stay or until you log off. You have full control over our condominium during your stay. You and your guests may use any of the closets or drawers. All rooms are open to you. The pool, fishing, and cooking equipment are provided for your use. If you or your guests are avid fisherman, we suggest they bring the fishing equipment that they are comfortable with. Our private beach supports surf fishing 24-7.
Smoke free inviromentWe ask that you and your guests refrain from smoking in our condominium. If necessary, smoking may be done on the ground floor away from the building. Operating the cable television: There will be two remotes located directly under each television. To turn the television on: First locate the spectrum remote with the horizontal row of white buttons located beneath the two large power buttons, one marked system and one marked power. Press the button marked system on/off. This button is located on the upper left. This should turn the cable and tv on simultaneously. Please use this button to turn the television on and off. If this does not work an error box will be displayed. Go to the smaller TV remote. Find the button marked with a plug icon on the upper right and press it. Make sure “HDMI 2 ” is selected on the tv screen. Now, go back to the big spectrum remote. Press the white cable button then the power button above it. If the picture is still not on the TV screen, press the button named TV then power. If you still do not see a picture repeat the entire procedure. Searching for stations on the TV: if you want to search for a specific station or program, simply press the blue button marked “B” a search box will appear. Simply type in your request and select it. We have not gotten sophisticated enough to go to voice yet. High definition stations start at 1000. If you want channel 11 high definition simply press 1011 etc. Music stations start at 400. Press guide then 400. The thermostat is set on seventy-five degrees during the summer months and 70 degrees during winter. You may adjust the thermostat according to your comfort level. It is a touch screen that can be operated like your cell phone. The microwave is low profile. Most of the controls are inside the door to save space. Simply press the open button to access the control panel with the numbers. Once you enter the cooking time, close the door and press the button that looks like a play button. Coffee pot This is a combination coffee pot. You can make a pot of coffee or a single cup using the Keurig pods. To make a full pot, fill the pot to the desired level. Pour the water into the reservoir behind the basket. Place a filter into the basket. fill the basket to the same level you filled the reservoir to. Place the basket into basket seat. Close the door, Press the carafe icon then Press “brew now”. Make sure the empty pot is beneath the brewer. Making a single cup, this is a flex brew. It is different than a true Keurig. First fill your cup with water. Then open the pod door on the top right side of the pot. pour the water into the reservoir. Place your cup under the brewer. Insert a Keurig pod into the pod seat. Close the door. Press pod then brew. The pool and beach: There will be a utility key left on the kitchen table. This key will open the stairwell doors, glass door on the other side of the lobby and the bathrooms by the pool. Please take it with you whenever you leave the condo. You will be responsible for the key. Please make sure the key is left on the kitchen table when you check out. The rest rooms, are located behind the office (no sign on door) that is located by the pool. The utility key will open the door. Walk in and turn right. Things to do nearby our condo. Our condo is located on A1A right across from our private beach. Saint Augustine is 30 minutes to our north; Daytona is 15 minutes to our south. Kennedy space center is a little over an hour to our south. Orlando is about an hour and a half to our east. The pool is located in the center of the complex on the ocean side. Please abide by the pool rules to be respectful of others and keep everyone safe. Please refer to the pool rules at the bottom of this document (see things to do on a rainy day below Restaurants on Ocean Shore boulevard (within 15 minutes' drive) There are great restaurants in Ormond-by-the-Sea. We have tried many of the restaurants. Due to the exclusivity of our location, a vehicle will be useful. Here are a few that we recommend: Go south as you exit the driveway Alfie’s, is the closest offering a full menu. It’s the closest to diner food. IHOP, Pancakes! Duncan doughnuts, No holes barred! Beach bucket, located behind the Ocean East resort. Direct ocean front and tasty food open for lunch. Rip Tide: great crabs and much more! Steve’s restaurant: Everything from soup to stake Restaurants on Ocean Shore boulevard (cont) Stone wood: great food Rip Tide, all you can eat crab, and much more. Try the surf and turf bisque. Crabby Daytona Beach Garlic: this is an experience you will never see again! (Ask for Carl Damnit) Turn right on Granada T.G.I.Friday’s Peach Vally Cafe: breakfast and lunch, known for their fritters Starbucks (don’t worry, we won't get upset if you like their coffee better) Out back, the place for stake Donni’s doughnuts: they’ll give VoDoo a run for their money Lulu’s: island Fun food Jimmy Hula’s restaurant: there’s a fish market right in the restaurant. The fish are so fresh they were censored. Wild rabbit bistro, they only give you one dish, but they keep multiplying. Frida’s Mexican restaurant, It’s an old house, Margarita lives there. The grind Gastro pub: eat outside for a big surprise. Rose villa, was a bed and breakfast owned by Henry Flagler. David Rockefeller loved to stay there. There was even a secret room upstairs. Well, now it is a world class southern style restaurant. But, the secret room is still there. Ormond garage: go back in time to an early 1900’s race car garage. There's great food and a beer still in the back room. 31 is a period restaurant with a 1931 theme. The food is great. But don’t be alarmed if Frank Sinatra gets up to sing. Mario”s Italian restaurant opened in 1955 by Mario and his family. His restaurant has passed through the generations until today. The bread is made from flour every morning at 6:00 am. Everything on their menu is fresh and delicious. You wanna a fresh one? Pagano’s Pizza House: forget about it! This guy makes great New York pizza and much more! Tell him Tony sent you. Go north as you exit the driveway Ocean Side Great food and drink Finns, as the name applies, order the fish for the halibut! Golden Lion: The owner was born in Great Britain. So, try the fish and chips. Martins: anything is good here Funky Pelican: the fish is great Hightide: Great food loaded with charm. It’s on the beach. Things to do on a rainy day We hope all your days are sunny days. However, we know that in order to get those beautiful rainbows a little rain must fall.
